Job Description
To assist in Technical Accounting, Financial Accounting and administrative tasks
Technical Accounting
To process Treaty Statements received from cedants/brokers and perform data entry.
To verify accuracy and ensure proper release of technical accounts.
To download and print various BW month end report.
To prepare cash call uncredited report for monitoring of uncredited cash call.
To prepare reinsurance payment.
To perform allocation of reinsurance receivables and payables.
To follow-up with cedants on outstanding closing / issues.
To update cedants/brokers bank details master listing.
Financial Accounting
To handle expenses payment and process all General Ledger entries.
To handle bank statement entries and prepare bank reconciliation.
To update records of sundry deposit, prepaid, sundry payable and miscellaneous receivable.
To prepare quarterly interest accrual.
To update Fixed Asset register and compute depreciation.
To scan PV/RV for preparing environment reporting.
Administrative Tasks
For MSI Labuan, scan the treaty statements received from MSIG Insurance (M) Berhad and send the original documents to Tokyo Head Office.
To assist in ensuring sufficiency of office supplies, including liaising with supplier and courier company for documents delivery.
To maintain paper archive master index.
To assist other team members from time to time to aid the achievement of the department’s business plan objectives.
